Athletic Training and Sport Medicine

Our Athletic Trainers and Sports Medicine Staff are the on campus certified athletic trainers that serve as the “medical staff” for RPHS athletics. They are trained to recognize, evaluate, rehabilitate, and treat athletic injuries. They also design injury prevention programs as well as rehabilitation programs for operative and non-operative athletes and document the athlete's progress along the way.

Head Athletic Trainer

Jeff attended St. Augustine High School in New Orleans, LA, attended the University of West Alabama where he achieved his BS Degrees in Athletic Training & Sport Medicine and Physical Education.

Jeff's favorite saying: "Don't just be good...decide to be Great!"

Assistant Athletic Trainer

Courtney attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where she achieved her BAS in Recreation, Sport and Tourism. She went on to attend Texas Tech University, Health Sciences Center where she earned a Masters degree in Athletic Training.

RPHS student athletic trainers are interviewed and selected to be a part of the training staff by the Athletic Trainers. This is typically a multi year commitment for these students.
