Head Coach Anthony Malbrough

Coach Malbrough is entering his 5th year at Ridge Point High School and 11th year overall. Before becoming a Ridge Point Panther, he was the defensive backs coach at Pearland High School where he helped lead the Pearland Oilers to the 2013 6A State Championship game. Coach Malbrough attended Texas Tech University on an athletic scholarship for football, track & field and majored in Communication Studies. After attending Texas Tech University, he was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the year 2000 as the first pick in the 5th round (Pick #130) and played professional football for ten years in the NFL and CFL (Canadian Football League).

Coach Malbrough’s wife of 20 years, Lavenda Malbrough, is the Homeless Liaison/At Risk Specialist for Pearland ISD and they have 3 children, Caleb (20), Cailyn (16) and Coby (6).
